Executive Director 

General Function: To serve as chief executive officer of the organization and to serve as the primary administrative contact with the Board through the Chairman of the Board.

I. Qualifications:
      -Have a deep commitment to Christ and the church.
      -Is an active member in good standing in an evangelical church.
      -Is committed to missions especially ministry among Aboriginal peoples.
      -Have leadership abilities and experience and a vision for ministry.
      -Cross-cultural experience is an asset.
      -Has a university or Bible college degree or equivalent experience.
      -Public relations and fundraising skills
      -Work well as a team builder

II. Responsibilities:
      -Develop and implement the vision of the organization with the approval of the board and from the contributions of

       ideas of the staff and Board.
      -Serve as the primary liaison between the Board and staff
      -Responsible for church/constituency relationship activities by personal participation and by delegation.
      -Promotes the vision and ministry of Indian Life Ministries through public speaking and contacting donors.
      -Overseas the administration of the ministry working with the administrative and editorial staff.
      -Develops budgets and the monitoring of revenue and expenses in conjunction with administrative staff.
      -Monitors Board directives to see that implementation is effected by the departments.
      -It is required that the Executive Director agrees with the Doctrinal Statement of Indian Life Ministries,

       MissionStatement, Purpose Statement, Goals and Objectives and agrees to abide by the staff handbook.
